As part of the Diocesan Pilgrims of Grace Statue Tour, we are deeply honoured to welcome the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes, the patroness of our diocese, for the next three days. Today, our children and staff will participate in meaningful activities centred around the statue, taking time to reflect on its spiritual significance.
Tomorrow, we invite you to join us for Mass at 9:15am, where the statue will be present as a focal point of prayer and devotion. Following Mass, children will accompany the statue to the hospital chapel, sharing moments of faith and community through prayer and liturgy with staff and patients.
To continue the pilgrimage on Friday morning, our Head Boy and Head Girl will then take the statue to Our Lady and Saint Edward’s Catholic Primary School, marking the next sacred step in its journey.
