This week in Beech Class we have been very busy.
We have begun learning our songs ready for the Christmas Play. It's been lovely to see our children looking carefully and trying hard to read the words. More information about parts to follow.
During assembly on Monday, the children learned all about how they can be 'Stewards of Creation.' This linked nicely to our HRSE, where we discussed this further and decided on ways that we are going to care for God's World.
In music, we have revised the name of a crotchet and used a crotchet and rest to create musical patterns. We loved finding the beat of different music.
We have been measuring length and height in maths. The children really enjoyed working in pairs to estimate and say if objects were a metre or more or less than a metre.
